    hi, wcrpg!

i'm humming and it's nice to meet y'all! i find myself to be counted as an at least semi-advanced roleplayer (i'm not sure on what you count as advanced) as i normally manage a good two paragraphs or so with my normal muse. this is my second year roleplaying cats, i've been on a few other sites (all of which have died out) and so i'm not new to the concept, although i've been writing long before then.

i've realised that the coding for templates/fancyposts is the same as another site i used to be on and so i'll be delving into the "industry" around here, of course! from what i've seen, after poking around the sites fancyposts board, there are some pretty amazing coders around the site and from what i've seen so far i'd probably call myself about semi-advanced in that area.

in real life i'm you average girl i guess! i'll be thirteen in a few months and so i'm in grade six at an australian school where i'm school captain. my favourite subjects are easily music and english, my music because i play violin and do singing lessons. i have a few commitments but other than that i have your average social life, i hang out with friends, get outside often and i'm often chatting and i enjoy meeting new people in general.

i guess that's it really! i'm slightly ocd with some things and so i've probably over done this introduction by far!

it was a fairly quiet day to be honest and not much was going on within the school house. with vertigo, one of the co-bosses, gone the whole clan seemed to be rather frisky and on their toes. at every turn cats were expecting to see an enemy or hoping to see their boss coming back. but to no avail for it seemed that bloodclan wouldn't be giving up their "prize" very willingly. because if you caught the co-boss of your nemesis then you wouldn't give him up all willy nilly now, would you? instead you'd make him worth it by trading off the lives of others in the clan for the tom-cat.

the day was quiet sunny and warm and most of the sunclan had no time to worry over these thoughts. as always they needed to hunt and practice their fighting to keep the clan strong and alive; even if it was without one of their leaders now. on one such day the cream tabby and white form of skylight was outside, although she wasn't really hunting or doing battle practice. instead the feline was looking for some peace and quiet, maybe not necessarily a time to socialise but more a time where she could think things over. being quiet shy though it was obvious that skylight had an overall of friends of pretty much zero. zilch. zip. but being a generally quiet and shy cat, although extremely naive, skylight obviously wasn't phased by the fact that she was yet to find a friend in the clan.

sitting on the veranda of the school the amber eyed cream and white tabby she was as silent as a mouse. closing her eyes for a moment, as if about to say a prayer or grace at the dinner table, she reopened them when she'd gathered her thoughts all up together. on this particular day her thoughts weren't of how good the prey was or such like it should, instead it was on the past. the battle that ace had brought upon the clan, the day frostbite, now platinumfrost, had given an example of what would happen to those suicidal cats. that second thought brought shivers to the spine of the feline for very obvious reasons and quickly she moved on from the thought. the day colouredstar had died came to mind next for skylight. it had almost been a death sentence for the whole of sunclan itself, which wasn't a good thing. shaking we head she let the thoughts slip away to nothing more than dust dust in her mind.

hmmm... i must say it is an interesting concept. but i do agree with cedar on this, and i don't mean to sound rude in saying so. i think it would, as cedar said, be like a back-door to getting powers, even if it was just for that limited time.

dragonkit. it was his scent that the young cream and white tabbied slayer drew in, closing her eyes as she heard the tiny pawsteps of a small cat, obviously a kitten this one. being the son of the two co-bosses obviously gave you a bit of popularity without even trying, and yet this one kit had obviously become the most well known from his litter. even the scent of the little thing was familiar to the she-cat, who had actually never even spoken to the young tom-kit.

opening her softly coloured amber eyes the quiet she-cat's soft optics gazed down, finding the young lad. for a moment the tom-kit looked up at her, his big and round eyes seemed to be sad and almost depressed and for a moment she felt relieved when he then sat, looking out at the territory. watching him skylight saw the way that the wind whipped through his brown striped fur, studying the figure of the young tom with a keen and almost expectant look.

just by the look in the kitten's eyes one could tell he carried a heavy burden and that life for him, in only the short three moons he'd lived for, had been tough and definately not something to brag about. but then who would want to brag about the fact that they'd been kidnapped and tortured by bloodclan, only then to be rescued and to have your own father taken captive instead? hopefully not anyone within sunclan that is...

she was silent for a moment, letting the peacefulness and serenity go on for a moment whilst she thought but then she spoke up. "i'm sorry about what happened to your father." she murmured softly, sitting still as she didn't want to get too close to the young kitten in his stage of sadness over everything that had happened to him.

it seemed that on this cold snowy day that pandamask wasn't the only one to have heard the cry erupting from the little persian kitten. to skylight, a cream and white tabbied slayer, the cries were like pleas for help, someone calling out for a saviour, a light in the darkness of the cold harsh world they called reality. padding through the snow skylight searched with wide amber eyes for the tiny figure, who, unbeknownst to her, was hiding away in the snowdrift.

gently placing her paws in the more solid clumps of snow, as not to get sucked in or fall into a hole covered in the sleet blanket of whiteness, the slayer moved on cautiously. determined as she was to help the little infant skylight also didn't want to begin by injuring herself in the process of finding it. turning her head back she saw the figure of pandamask, a fellow slayer, and to acknowledge her presence she simply dipped her head in greeting and in a kind manner of formality. generally skylight was rather quiet, but not really anti-social, and so she didn't yet know the slayer well.

turning back to the path before her she was about to place her paw on what she thought was a clump of snow when the beady black eyes snapped open. letting out a squeak of surprise to realise she'd almost stepped on the little white persian kitten the slayer jumped back, eyes widening. "it's over here!" she called, stepping curiously back up to take a sniff of the young kit. "it's not... sunclan."
